They will continue to attack her and she will continue to ignore it.
The crux of this, I think, is that there are a fair number of people who cannot accept the fact that the people in the White House are not white. They are unable to genuinely attack them for something substantial, so they go for things that don't matter: how the President handles a stupid question, why the First Lady doesn't sound ghetto, etc. I wish they could go off on their detractors, but it would only be an "I told you so" for them.
The Obamas have to play it Jackie Robinson style: have the patience of Job while they outplay, outscore, and outclass the opposition.

She obviously has an issue with black women, and from my personal experience, most (white) feminist do. I don't understand why, but their objection isn't only against male control, but it's obvioulsy also against black woman control.

I can't stand white feminist. They're so blind to their own privileges it's sickening. They're idea of anti racism is cuddling up to Black men. They completely ignore Black women and when we speak on it they manage to turn the conversation on themselves. Yet they want to scream sisterhood and get angry when Black women aren't there for them to stand on.
There's always one who will say "I'm not like the others". We(Black women) have heard it all before. Bitch, please. You're not fooling anyone.
Second, Tammy Bruce saying Michelle uses a "weird, fake accent" is just s PC way of saying "she talks like a white girl", which irks the hell out of me. I *hate* when people stereotype and assume all "authentic" black people speak the same. If all white people don't speak the same, then why are all black people expected to sound exactly alike? Absolutely ridiculous.
And third, I don't remember the left making personal attacks on Laura Bush or her daughters...I do remember reading/hearing personal attacks on Hillary and Chelsea Clinton though...

I actually have no opinion on Hillary anymore and have yet to form any substantial one about Mrs. Obama. To me it's simply live and let live. For better or worse, Hillary has proved herself. From what I seen so far of Mrs. Obama (at least going through the election campaign and getting to the White House. I'm reserving judgement on the White House itself, mostly because two months certainly ain't a long enough period of time to work with), she has proved to be a very capable lady.
In any event, to attack someone for being black, simply shows how your shoe size is larger than your IQ.

I agree with this so much. I don't even take the white feminist movement seriously as a matter of fact, its a joke to me. I also hate it when white feminist try to equate their "mistreatment," in this society with that of blacks, it is in no way the same. White women weren't lynched and beaten just for being white and in the wrong place at the wrong time.A ww is one of the most priveleged groups in the world, accept that and deal with it. I'm not saying women don't face hardship for being women, but in this society it is in no way akin to the treatment of black women or men and it offends me when that comparison is made. There's even a video by a woman on youtube who claims that the word "bitch," is just as slanderous as the word, "nigger," thats the b.s from white feminist i can't f*cking stand...
When you read the tabloids, they sensationalize Michelle's anxiety over Obama having access to so many opporunites to cheat. If you red between the lines of these stories what these white women are saying is, his marriage to her can't be real, he prefers white women and he is going to find himself a side one in the course of his term. Its INEVITABLE. White women can not get their head around the fact that Black women are full blown women like they are. This is quite hillarious. What does a white woman have that I don't have? Really! I am just as capable of taking your man as any other woman and on top of that I have the advantage of being invisible.
I have had white men with their blonde wives seriously come after me, I was too slippery for them. At the moment there is one that just divorced his wife and is trying to pin it on me. I never went out with the fool, now he thinks he can settle for a black one. Too bad.

Good point, I was watching these soukous dancers on youtube and I remember thinking how beautiful and fit so many of them were and I was like, now why don't they show this kind of stuff in america? If only people knew how beautiful we are. But you're right its easier when our beauty isn't recognized and we remain incognito.
I wouldn't advice you to lose too much sleep over losers like this woman. She is just desperate for attention and some Michelle-Obama-loving that she most probably is not going to get. I am almost sure that this is just the beginning and it is going to get even worse!
Our lovely first lady is ignoring the worthless cretin and I will be doing the same. She is not worth the attention.

I reached a point a while ago that I walked away from the shambles and I have never looked back. I myself subscribe to feminist/womanist/pro-woman principles but I subscribe to principles that are for the rights and dignity of and equality for ALL women.
One of my main issues with the white feminist movement at large is that for those women (white) who did not support feminist ideology, with them, you knew were you stood (irrespective of wether they were racist of not). On the other hand, in the feminist movement, there were the constant cries of 'sisterhood' in which the benefits were flowing in only one direction. When it (and the general institutionalized racism) was pointed out, you would either be shut down or ignored.
How can someone who says they are a feminist and be a former pres. of an NOW branch make such derogatory comments about another woman?

I think that being invisible is fun too. I remember one time I was with my friends and this one woman and we were trying on belts and this woman (who was not black) couldn't fit into the belt, so I took it and tried it on and lo and behold it fit me. She got so upset, she actually said to me "wait...how can it fit you and not me?" She was so jealous and I didn't even respond to her. I felt like saying "honey, just because I have boobs and a butt doesn't mean I'm fatter than you." She was so jealous, it was great. She assumed because I was black that I couldn't fit any of her clothes or something ( I was the only bw there) it was great. You're right, we are seen as no threat whatsoever, but when people realize we're woman too, so many people just get so jealous and upset. I looked cute too.
LOL! Great story. Visibility should only matter in employment IMO. I always look at white women at work and see their whole superiority attitude. In the back of my mind I am laughing and feeling sorry for them because they are enslaved in society's definition of womanhood. Nothing is more disturbing in women watching than seeing one wearing dangerously looking shoes in the name of feminity.
And people, don't be fooled by the whole being skinny thing, its the way white women are still controlled by their community. Just remain physically fit and healthy.
I can't tell you how many times I have been out hanging by myself in a cafe doing my homework and having white men with their dates looking at me with interest. It may be out of simple curiosity but you can see their minds are contemplating something that their date would never even imagine. And to the women you are completely invisible, you just don't exist. I love it.
That is why I am miffed by Black women that try to follow the WW standard of beauty. You will never be one, why not use your own inate natural strengths?
Response: I don't know why people think bw are undesirable. Do people not realize that the now mixed populations of Cuba, Brazil, Puerto Rico and even America came primarily from centuries of mixing between african women and european men. Hello?? Seeing as initially alot of european men didn't even bring their european women with them to the new world initially, they came later after they'd settled everything. Hell, most black americans are mixed and it aint because of bm and ww. We've already had their men. (in a historical sense) been there and done that. Hell, even when the european women came over, they still had a placage system and took on african/colored mistresses. So, I don't get it, the evidence is everywhere, including in our DNA.
