Very disturbing, but right now he's probably got more Secret Service agents on him than the current President. I'd read that he's had more death threats than any other candidate. There are some fruitcakes out there, for sure.

Possible but not probable... Those other assassinations were four decades ago, things are not the same as the sixties. People are gonna be too worried about Obama bringing the economy back to shoot him

I truly hope you are right. I know that security was upped for him on the campaign trail because this was a fear. I do hope that people will focus on the economy and the war instead of his color, but I get less and less optimistic about that each and every day.
